  • Includes a potentiometer and NTC 103 Thermistor (10 K) for precise temperature sensing and adjustment.
  • Features a 7805 Voltage Regulator for stable power supply to the system components.
  • Incorporates a soldering iron, solder wire, relay module, and resistor for circuit assembly and integration.
  • Equipped with 18650 Li-ion batteries and a 3S Li-ion battery charger for portable operation and backup power supply.
  • Utilizes a DC Jack for power input and connectivity.
  • Includes a Peltier module, cooling fan with heat sink, and other thermal management components for efficient temperature control.

Components:

  1. Arduino UNO
  2. LCD Display (16×2)
  3. Potentiometer
  4. NTC 103 Thermistor (10 K)
  5. 7805 Voltage Regulator
  6. Soldering Iron
  7. Solder Wire
  8. Relay Module
  9. 18650 Li-ion Batteries
  10. 3S Li-ion Battery Charger
  11. DC Jack
  12. Resistor
  13. Peltier Module
  14. Cooling fan with heat sink

Working:

  1. The Arduino UNO microcontroller reads temperature data from the NTC 103 Thermistor and displays it on the LCD Display.
  2. Based on the temperature readings, the microcontroller controls the operation of the Peltier module.
  3. The Peltier module acts as a thermoelectric cooler, transferring heat from the inside of the refrigerator to the outside, thereby cooling the interior.
  4. The cooling fan with heat sink helps dissipate heat generated by the Peltier module, maintaining efficient cooling.
  5. The relay module is used to control the power supply to the Peltier module, allowing the microcontroller to turn it on or off as needed.
  6. The potentiometer allows users to manually adjust the set temperature of the refrigerator, providing flexibility in temperature control.
  7. The 18650 Li-ion batteries provide backup power in case of a power outage, ensuring continuous operation and temperature regulation.

Application:

  • Vaccine Storage: Ideal for storing vaccines and other temperature-sensitive medications in medical facilities, pharmacies, and research laboratories.
  • Cold Chain Logistics: Suitable for maintaining the cold chain during transportation and distribution of vaccines and pharmaceuticals.
  • Laboratory Use: Used in scientific research laboratories for storing biological samples, reagents, and other temperature-sensitive materials.
  • Medical Refrigeration: Provides reliable temperature control for storing blood products, vaccines, and medications in healthcare settings such as hospitals and clinics.
  • Remote Areas: Useful in remote or off-grid locations where access to reliable electricity and refrigeration infrastructure is limited.
