Working Principle:

  1. Triggering: Apply a 10us TTL impulse to the TRIG pin to trigger ranging.
  2. Transmission: The module sends eight 40kHz square waves automatically.
  3. Reception: If an object is detected, the ECHO pin outputs a high-level signal.
  4. Distance Calculation: The duration of the high-level signal corresponds to the time taken for the ultrasonic wave to travel to the object and back. Distance is calculated using the formula: Distance = (Duration of high level signal) x (Speed of sound) / 2.
