Description

This system is designed to detect an infant’s cries and automatically play soothing lullabies to comfort the baby. Powered by an Arduino UNO, it uses a microphone module to sense the cry, triggering a DF Player Mini to play preloaded lullabies through a speaker. Working

  1. Cry Detection:
    • The microphone module continuously monitors ambient sound. When it detects a sound matching the frequency and amplitude of a baby’s cry, it sends a signal to the Arduino UNO.
  2. Lullaby Activation:
    • The Arduino processes the signal and activates the relay module, which in turn powers the DF Player Mini.
  3. Lullaby Playback:
    • The DF Player Mini plays preloaded lullabies stored on a microSD card, and the sound is amplified through the 5-watt speaker.
  4. Manual Control:
    • Push buttons allow the caregiver to manually play, pause, or stop the lullabies if needed.

    • The LM7805 voltage regulator ensures all components receive a stable power supply, maintaining reliable operation.
