Working

  1. Detection:
    • An ultrasonic sensor detects the presence of waste, triggering the system to open the lid.
  2. Classification:
    • The moisture sensor identifies whether the waste is wet or dry.
  3. Sorting:
    • Based on the sensor reading, the Arduino UNO processes the data and activates the servo motor, directing waste to the appropriate compartment.
  4. Power Management:
    • The system is powered by a Li-ion battery, managed by a 2S BMS and regulated by a 7805 voltage regulator for consistent operation.
